Philbert

Board Member

Philbert is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Alberta researching the Later Stone Age and Iron Age in Eastern Africa. He is also an Assistant Lecturer in the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), Tanzania. He holds B.A & M.A (Hons.) in Archaeology from the same university. Philbert has researched and published to some extent on his area of specialization and beyond. He was born and raised in Tanzania, a country where Sunrise of Life operates. Philbert is passionate about community related activities including helping and care for vulnerable groups such as street children and orphans. Apart from his area of specialization, Philbert has devoted reviews of the legal, policies and institutional frameworks related to children rights in Tanzania.
